Prior to Keren’s research I knew little beyond the fact that we had come from North Carolina, and before that England. Now, the blanks are filled in with photocopies of relevant documents – birth, marriage and death certificates, and most importantly, wills, as well as with photos of tombstones.
I have a much better understanding of both the broader history of the times – what was going on when each generation lived – but also the more specific factors that were catalysts for important turning points in my own family’s journey. Keren’s documentation was extensive and detailed. There were many surprises and many hidden treasures.

Researching my family’s genealogy was a project I had wanted to pursue for many years. Within twenty minutes of meeting Keren Weiner, I knew she was the woman for the unique and personal job. It quickly became apparent in talking with Keren that my own excitement and passion for the project was matched by her enthusiasm and experience with genealogical research.
As we worked together through the timeline that she had set out for us, I continued to experience her thorough and hardworking nature, and especially important, the passion she holds for her subject. It was apparent as she uncovered more stories and information about my family, that she was just as excited about them as I.
Throughout the process, Keren had clear and concise communication, wonderful follow up with any questions I had, and she followed the project through to the end, culminating in a fantastic and enlightening presentation for myself, my husband and my four children.
I highly recommend her services, and I’m certain that I myself will be in touch with her about other projects in the near future.

As I became older, I was increasingly conscious of not having asked enough questions of my parents when they were alive. Knowing more about the narrative of my grandparents and their parents became more and more important as it was an important missing piece to understanding my own narrative.
This has turned out to be a significant gift to my children and grandchildren. Keren is a remarkable genealogist with a sense of history, respect and a sense of the drama and meaning of the lives she studies. Her final presentation was beautiful, coherent and moving. I can’t wait to get started on my mother’s family story as well.

We presented [this] research to my father for his 84th birthday last month. He and my Mom have not stopped talking about it as they enjoy a flood of fond nearly-forgotten memories. These will now live on in our children, and their children and so on down the line. How can we thank you enough for that?

Again, many thanks for the wonderful job you did researching our family. You did it with such tender loving care and enthusiasm. I feel so fortunate to have found you, or should I say, that you found me.

Keren Weiner did a fabulous job researching my maternal grandmother’s family. I called Keren about doing genealogy work for me after I had seen a wonderful report she had assembled for a friend about her family. It was so well done that I contacted Keren to discuss her doing research on my family. The report she wrote about my grandmother’s family was just fascinating.

Keren, you have given me a gift that cannot be duplicated in value or significance and I am very grateful to you. It was clear while you were explaining what you found that you became immersed in the history of my ancestral town and I could feel your caring as you spoke. My wife and I both thank you for this. I am very impressed with your thoroughness and professionalism.
